Diablo Cody is the author of Candy Girl. She won the 2007 Academy Award for Best Screenplay for the film Juno. Showtime recently announced that her first television series, The United States of Tara (starring Toni Collette and produced by Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks), will air in late 2009.
