Peter Rose, a poet, memoirist and novelist, is the editor of the Australian Book Review and former publisher at Oxford University Press, Melbourne. Peter's memoir, Rose Boys, won the National Biography Award in 2002.

Recent books include Rattus Rattus: New and Selected Poems, and the novel, A Case of Knives. He has also edited two poetry anthologies, The Best Australian Poems 2007, The Best Australian Poems 2008. He divides his time between Melbourne and Adelaide.
